Damian Micahlewicz and Bailey Simmons presented information about their summer internship at the October 16 meeting of the Aggie Turf Club. The pair spent the summer at the Boot Ranch Golf Club in Fredericksburg, TX.

At this past week’s Aggie Turf Club, Turfgrass Science students Nick Patschke and Garrison Moczygemba presented on their summer internships with Helena Ag over the past summer. This internship gave the students exposure to the sales, distribution, and research side of the industry.

Two turfgrass science students spent the summer in Fredericksburg working at Boot Ranch Golf Club as part of their degree program at Texas A&M. Their internship helped them learn more about the turfgrass industry.

6th annual Aggie TurfCup held in College Station

The Texas A&M Turfgrass Club held their 6th annual Aggie TurfCup last week in College Station. Congratulations to James Kimberly and Nick Patschke – the winning team! The TurfCup, held near the end of the spring semester, is a fun activity to wrap up another academic year. Good luck to the Turfgrass Science students as they head out for jobs and internships!
