Students and faculty displayed their putting prowess at the Aggie Turf Club Putt-Putt fundraiser October 30 and 31.
The Aggie Turf Club held a putt-putt fundraiser October 30 and 31 at the Scotts MiracleGro Facility on F&B Road in College Station. The contest raised funds for student travel to the upcoming Golf Course Superintendents Association of America and the Sports Turf Managers Association conferences. Participants enjoyed the great weather and had lots of fun.
“This was a kind of a dry run to see how things would go,” said Dr. Ben Wherley, Professor of Turfgrass Science. “I think we may try to do it over two weekends next year. I was really pleased with how it went.”
